UNITY PROGRAMMER

Unexpected Developments Ltd are currently looking for an experienced Unity programmer to join the team. The ideal candidate would have a background in the games industry or a demonstrable interest and familiarity of games and their development techniques.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of c# or c++ programming experience in the games industry or a published title
• A good degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, maths or another related subject
• Ability to write clear and maintainable code and understand and build upon code written by others
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all disciplines
• Self motivated with the ability to work independently as required
• A desire to constantly improve and develop new skills
• Ability to realistically break down and schedule tasks plus identify and raise risks
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise different tasks to achieve the project goals
• Perform well under deadline pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Unreal experience
• Must be eligible to work in the UK

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Perforce
• Good understanding of agile development
• Project tracking software experience e.g. Hansoft, Jira
• Multi-platform/ Multi-engine development experience
